The heart of the farm—rotationally grazed through fresh pasture and watched closely through every stage of the season.

A small family farm in the Green Mountains, raising sheep, pigs, chickens, turkeys and ducks with patience, practical care and plenty of fresh Vermont air.

A working farm, at our own pace
Wligo Farm sits among the fields, woods and old barns of southern Vermont. It is a place where animals move with the seasons, gardens grow beside the pasture, and each new project starts with a respect for the land already here.
The sheep and meat birds are rotationally grazed, moving regularly onto fresh ground. The pigs are run through wooded paddocks—where pigs belong—with room to root, forage, explore and express their natural behavior.
Meet the residents
The farm changes from season to season, but the daily work stays wonderfully familiar: fresh water, good feed, secure fencing, healthy ground and time spent paying attention.

Our meat birds are rotationally grazed on fresh ground; the chickens, turkeys and Cayuga ducks bring plenty of personality too.

From the farm
Farm availability follows the animals, the weather and the work—not a supermarket calendar. When there is something to share, it is local, limited and raised right here.

Around the farm
No stock photography here. Just real animals, Vermont light and whoever happened to walk up to the camera.

“A farm should leave room to grow.”
Looking ahead
Over time, the plan is to add a small number of rustic woodland campsites and simple cabin stays—places where guests can slow down, walk the property and experience the quieter side of southern Vermont farm life.
This part of the farm is still taking shape and is not booking yet.
